Phoenixville Free Clinic (PFC), a nonprofit medical facility dedicated to providing free healthcare services to uninsured patients in the Greater Phoenixville area, announces the appointment of Dr. Andrea Pellegrino as its new Medical Director. Dr. Pellegrino brings with her a wealth of experience in both family medicine and leadership, making her an invaluable addition to the PFC team.
"We are delighted to introduce Dr. Pellegrino as our new Medical Director," says Christi Seidel, Executive Director of PFC. "Her commitment to our mission and extensive medical background make her a perfect fit for the Phoenixville Free Clinic."
Dr. Pellegrino has been an active volunteer at PFC since 2022, demonstrating an understanding of the clinic's crucial role in serving the healthcare needs of our communities. Dr. Pellegrino stated, “I have been so impressed with the dedicated staff and volunteers of the Phoenixville Free Clinic, and it has been a privilege to serve the patients as a volunteer physician. I am excited to further my role in supporting the community and the mission of the clinic.”
Through the combined efforts of its dedicated staff, volunteer physicians and nurses, generous donors, and community partnerships, PFC provided compassionate care to 1,789 patients in the last fiscal year alone. Since its inception in 2002, under the leadership of Dr. Lorna Stuart and The Reverend Marie Swayze, PFC has delivered over 175,000 patient visits to the community. In addition to primary care, PFC offers a spectrum of specialty services, including pediatrics, cardiology, allergy, gynecology, orthopedics, and a new Behavioral Health program introduced last year. In addition, PFC provides essential lab tests, diagnostic testing, and medications to our patients.
