Phoenixville Free Clinic Expands Women's Health Testing Services for Uninsured Women

Phoenixville, PA – July 1, 2026 – Phoenixville Free Clinic is proud to announce a generous $20,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation in support of its mission to provide quality healthcare to uninsured individuals with dignity and respect. This funding will directly enhance the Clinic's Women's Health Testing Program, expanding access to critical gynecological testing and cancer screenings for uninsured women in our community.

“We are deeply grateful to The Foxwynd Foundation for investing in the health and well-being of women who might otherwise go without these essential services,” said Shelley Meenan, Executive Director of Phoenixville Free Clinic. “Early detection saves lives, yet many uninsured women delay or forgo important screenings because of cost. This grant will help ensure that more women have access to timely diagnostic testing, follow-up care, and the support they need to achieve better health outcomes.”

The grant will allow Phoenixville Free Clinic to expand access to diagnostic testing and follow-up services for uninsured women, supporting the early detection of serious health conditions and improving long-term health outcomes. Without timely screenings and care, women are more likely to experience delayed diagnoses, more invasive treatments, and poorer health outcomes.

"Every woman deserves access to preventive healthcare, regardless of her insurance status or financial circumstances. We are proud to support Phoenixville Free Clinic’s efforts to remove barriers to care and help build a healthier, more equitable community.” Pamela Villagra, Executive Director, The Foxwynd Foundation
